It’s called GALE COURSES which are a wide range of highly interactive courses that you take entirely over the Internet, led by expert instructors. Unlike many others, there are 8 offerings specifically for nonprofits:

  • Teaching and Education

Once you find your course, click on the blue ENROLL NOW button.  Choose a starting date.  Then you either create an account by entering your email address, a password; then your name, address and phone number.  If you previously created an account, just enter your email address and password.

Each week, you’ll spend roughly two to four hours completing two lessons in an interactive learning environment. Expert instructors develop and lead every course and you’ll be able to interact with them and with fellow students in an online discussion areas. These discussion areas automatically close 2 weeks after each lesson is released, so you’re encouraged to complete each lesson within two weeks of its release. New sessions start every month, so you can sign up anytime.

The Final Exam is released on the same day as the last lesson. You have 2 weeks plus 10 days to complete the Final and finish any remaining lessons in your course. No further extensions can be provided beyond these 10 days.
